The analyzer extracts a chroma profile from your audio — how much energy each of the 12 pitch classes carries — and correlates it against major and minor key profiles (the Krumhansl-Schmuckler method). You get the best-matching key with a confidence score, so ambiguous tracks (key changes, heavy percussion) are flagged as such rather than guessed silently. DJs get the Camelot code for instant harmonic-mixing decisions; producers get the key for sample matching and remixing.
