MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG and M4A/AAC, up to 8 minutes per file. For best accuracy upload the highest-quality version you have.
How accurate is the transcription?
Our tuned engine scores 0.97 F1 on melodies and 0.91 on polyphonic chords in closed-loop benchmarks — including a harmonic-ghost filter that removes the phantom octave notes plaguing raw AI transcription. Clean solo-instrument recordings transcribe best; dense full-band mixes are genuinely hard for any tool, so expect a starting point to edit rather than a perfect score.
Is it free?
Converting is free — 5 jobs a day, files up to 40 MB, no account. The preview shows the score with highlighted notes and plays the whole piece in the browser, so you can judge the recognition before paying. The downloads are a one-time purchase per piece, priced by length: up to 2 pages $2.99, 3–9 pages $5.99, 10+ pages $9.99 for MusicXML + MIDI; the Rehearsal Pack with per-part practice MP3s and slow mixes is $3 more. One-time payments — no subscription. Doing several pieces? Credit packs save you more: $9 unlocks 4 pieces, $19 unlocks 10.
What happens to my files?
Uploads are used only to run your job. Unpaid uploads and generated files are automatically deleted 7 days after processing completes. Please save any free results you need before then. Paid customer files are excluded from this automatic cleanup. We don't share them or train on them. You can delete any upload yourself at any time — the 🗑 on its card removes the file, everything made from it and any share link immediately. See our privacy policy.
