Lossless in, better notes out

Feeding the transcriber a lossless WAV or FLAC gives it cleaner spectra than a compressed MP3 — onsets are sharper and quiet notes survive. If you recorded the audio yourself, upload the original file rather than an MP3 export. Everything else works identically to our MP3 to MIDI converter: tuned thresholds, harmonic-ghost filtering, and honest metrics on every job.

Which audio formats are supported?
MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG and M4A/AAC, up to 8 minutes per file. For best accuracy upload the highest-quality version you have.
How accurate is the transcription?
Our tuned engine scores 0.97 F1 on melodies and 0.91 on polyphonic chords in closed-loop benchmarks — including a harmonic-ghost filter that removes the phantom octave notes plaguing raw AI transcription. Clean solo-instrument recordings transcribe best; dense full-band mixes are genuinely hard for any tool, so expect a starting point to edit rather than a perfect score.
Is it free?
Yes — 5 jobs a day with files up to 12 MB, no account. Larger files (up to 40 MB / 8 minutes of audio) use credits: $9 for 20. Failed jobs auto-refund.
What happens to my files?
