PDF scores are pictures — MusicXML is music

A PDF of sheet music is just an image: you can't transpose it, extract parts, or fix a wrong note. MusicXML is the interchange format every serious notation editor speaks. Our OMR engine converts the first page of your PDF into MusicXML you can actually edit, with the recognized score re-rendered so you can spot recognition errors at a glance. Typeset scores at good resolution convert best; handwritten manuscripts remain hard for all OMR tools.
